Oh sure, the humans were a nice race. They gave the best of us homes, shelter, food, water, all the luxuries any pooch could ask for. Back then dogs were loyal, laws and manners were to be followed. ... Where your laws and manners now? ... The humans wiped themselves out, there's no excuse for that, no reversals, they started their "World War III" or whatever they liked to call it. Now all that's left is their ruins. Dogs have long since abandoned any pretense of 'loyalty'. Every dog to himself. It's like trying to stay afloat in a raging sea. Only the swimmers will make it, until their legs give way. ... No one survives in the end ...
